itsinthetrees:

Apparently they’re looking for extras who are “men or women that are over 18 and that are under 5ft in height.”

Which sounds like the Crannogmen.

Soooo

Oh dear, they’re looking for someone like me. Too bad I’m so far away….

tumblrofthrones:

Every time someone goes, “But Jaime would never kill his cousin, he’s not EVIL, that was sooooo out of character,” I giggle and think of this moment.

Maybe Jaime is not wholly evil, but he’s not a good person either. How can someone who flung a kid out of the window still be considered ‘not evil’? As Stannis said in Garden of Bones (was it?), one good act does not erase the bad, nor the bad the good, or something like that.

I love Jaime Lannister. Really, I do, and part of it is because his character does not fit the whole good-bad dichotomy and that makes him interesting.

Yes, Jaime kills people. He’s killed quite a number, I think. Nikolaj just does it while looking like Prince Charming.

martinusmiraculorum:

god but people do drive me kind of nuts sometimes. It’s an adaptation. It’s not a visualization of the novels. Yes, some bad creative choices have been made (Cat, LF, Irri, possibly Loras). But this attitude that all changes from the books= mistakes is kind of pissing me off a bit. It’s entitled and elitist. And it’s kind of just foolish in some cases, because it’s asking the impossible and being upset when you don’t get it.
